Jasmine’s presentation style is very engaging and thoughtful. She prioritizes making spaces safe for having challenging conversations. In our event, she created various complex scenarios for our small table group discussions. The problems were difficult and the solutions multifaceted. During group share out, she made space for many voices to be heard and different ideas to surface.

Dr. Crenshaw was incredibly engaging. She laid the foundation for the topics we were going to discuss in the workshop and then provided these rich case studies for us to explore. Each case presented various and nuanced situations that we might be faced with as faculty members or administrators at our institutions.

[Mind Over Matter Consulting] has truly helped and motivated me to not only get accepted into a graduate program but also …stand out apart from others. I was able to receive a graduate school offer and job offers all because of [the] hard work… put [in] to help me with the process.
Linda Moise
Undergraduate Student, Virginia Union University
The most helpful thing about the [seminar] was Dr. Crenshaw’s personality and her caring nature. I could sense it as soon as I entered the door. I also felt comfortable enough to go up and speak about my action plan, which is something I struggle with. I am able to focus my attention on showing myself that I’m empowering myself and others every day.

[Mind Over Matter Consulting] has inspired me to pursue my goals with hard work and dedication. I truly appreciate and value everything I have learned.
